Laumė helps you track body progress and wellness during perimenopause and menopause. Your privacy matters to us.
Summary
Laumė syncs your data to a secure cloud account when you sign in with Google or Apple. We use your data only to provide the app to you. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we store
When you use Laumė, we may store:
- Account identifier from Google or Apple sign-in (email when provided by the provider)
- Profile details (nickname, menopause stage, goals, unit preferences, reminder settings)
- Weight entries and body measurements
- Daily wellness logs (sleep, energy, mood, hot flashes, protein, and related symptoms)
- Menstrual cycle and period logs
- Progress photos and profile avatar images
- Medication names and reminder schedules
- Generated wellness insights
How data is stored
- Data is stored on Laumė servers (PostgreSQL database and encrypted file storage)
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Each user can only access their own data (authenticated API)
- Local notifications are still scheduled on your device
What we do not do
- We do not sell your health data
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers
- We do not share your data with third parties except infrastructure providers required to run the service
Photos
Progress photos and your profile picture are uploaded to Laumė servers when you add them in the app. They are associated with your account and not shared publicly.
Notifications
Laumė uses local notifications on your device. Reminder schedules are derived from your profile settings stored in the cloud.
Data retention and deletion
- You can delete individual entries in Settings → History
- Sign out removes your session token from the device
- To delete your account and all cloud data, see our Account deletion page or contact support
- On first sign-in, any legacy on-device data from a previous local-only version may be uploaded once to your new account
Children's privacy
Laumė is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The in-app version and this document will be updated accordingly.
